With an aesthetic based on the relaxed and rustic, boho barn vibe, the pair hosted their family and friends for an entire wedding weekend, culminating in a single epic party within the barn.
The bride looks beautifully boho yet bridal in her gown, an attractive creation of a nude underlay with intricate lace layered over. Perfectly suited to her silhouette, it appears so easy to put on and relocate to, precisely what you need to have an outdoor celebration.
The bride created her natural make-up look herself whilst members of the family created the relaxed, swept-up hair-dos.
Emma had seven bridesmaids who dressed in an attractive variety of long blush pink bridesmaid dresses, bought at FeelTimes.
"They had three different styles from the same dress so I allow the bridesmaids to select which style they preferred. They were a nude-blush color and toned in well using the nude underlay of my dress."
"Billy is originally from London and was delivered to Manchester for 6 months by the firm he was employed by. We met inside a bar within the Northern Quarter and happen to be together since. We do a couples' city weekend away with a few of our friends in November every year and also the 2018 destination was Hamburg."
"My friends were all in around the engagement surprise as well as staged just a little argument with Billy to make sure that he and I visited the park alone. We went together in the beautiful November sunshine and he proposed in true Billy style with printed clue cards to ensure that I had to you know what he was asking me. Our friends were all awaiting us in a restaurant with balloons and bubbly and also the celebrations continued for that rest from the weekend."
Emma and Billy were keen to create their guests together to have an entire, chilled-out weekend to get to know one another, so picking somewhere miles from everywhere would be a strategic move to create sure that might happen.
"Billy didn't want anything too formal. He and also the best men wore beige dogtooth and woolen ties. The groomsmen, Billy and our dads wore braces and Billy wore an environmentally friendly trilby from. He is well-known for loving a hat therefore it was only right he got married in a single!"
"We love everything boho and rustic. We were both adamant in regards to a relaxed barn wedding – nothing formal, only a big party inside a barn!"
The ceremony area was simply dressed with wooden tables, a wooden pergola, and plenty of greenery, and after a little touching portrait together with her mum, Emma walked on the aisle together with her dad.
After the very first dance, your guests danced the night time away to more music from Fraud.
"Our first dance track was 'Toothpaste Kisses' by The Maccabees. Again, this was within the theme of bands that we’ve seen together."
"Our photographer Esme recommended and that we booked him as our videographer. We were astonished by his talent! He gave us a teaser video from the pre-shoot and we couldn't believe how good it had been. Michael is lovely. He found to meet us for any coffee a couple of weeks before the wedding and that we felt like we'd known him years."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Try to not compete with other people or seem like you need to do things a particular way to please or impress others. Just do you! The something everyone said about our wedding is that it had been just us right down to a T and that's what people loved about this."
